I was that kid who always asked an inordinate amount of questions, couldn’t sit still to save their life and spent most of their class time daydreaming about travel. Journalism seems to be one of the few fields where these characteristics that infuriate teaching faculty and alienate right-wing uncles at family functions become attributes.
I jumped at the chance to study in Rabat due to its fierce intersectionality and eclipsing historical beauty. My goal, while I am here, is to serve this country’s stories ethically and work as a conduit for whatever messages the people of Morocco wish to convey on an international level
