Kiannah Sepeda-Miller is a junior studying anthropology-sociology, English literature and journalism at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. She doesn’t know yet if journalism is the “right” path for her and is on a mission to find out. What she does know is this: asking questions, connecting with others, and bringing the world around us into clearer focus captivate her. During her time in Morocco, she hopes to do more of all three while interviewing a variety of sources in multiple languages in this French-influenced, Middle Eastern country on the northern coast of Africa.
Kiannah’s previous experience with journalism includes serving as an arts and culture editor at her college’s independent paper, The Knox Student. This summer, she is excited to join New York Magazine’s staff as a print editorial intern.
