Gari De Ramos is a junior at Clark University studying political science and global environmental studies. Originally from the Philippines and raised in Hong Kong and New York City, she is interested in the intersection of migration and climate change. Gari developed a love for journalism with the Worcester Magazine and The Scarlet, and has come to Morocco to sharpen her reporting skills and get away from New England winters. Outside of Reporting Morocco, Gari communicates the climate crisis with Our Climate Voices, fiddles with a Rubik’s cube, and daydreams about a gender-swapped version of Hamilton.
